Zip Goes a Million!
It is with great regret that we announce
the closure of Zip Theatre from the end of August 2013.
Founded in Wolverhampton in 1980, after working successfully in the community for over 30 years, we can no longer sustain wages for the 10 core professional members of the company.
We thank colleagues, friends and clients for their support and good wishes. We thank all customers, commissioners, funders and others for their business. We thank Wolverhampton Council for consistent and long term financial support of our community arts activities.
Most of all we thank the people of Wolverhampton for their loyal support, interest and enthusiasm for the many arts projects that we have enjoyed delivering over the lifetime of Zip Theatre.
